SUNDAY PUB LUNCH MEET

ok all here goes!

as the chip shop run for winter is loosing numbers an idea that has come up is a pub lunch meet the idea is for the last sunday of the month meeting at the Deep about 1230 photo oppertunaty then a short drive on to timber dock.

good food
good beer
big car park and safe
big pub and good atmosphere
plenty of tv screens with sport on!!

I think the problem is that there are simply too many meets already. Most people are happy to do say a monthly pub meet and some impromptu ones, but trying to get a commitment will always be tough.

Why don't some of you guys bother with the East Yorks pub meet? It certainly doesn't clash with shopping or family days out.

there's a tvr meet at piece hall halifax on the same day otherwise i'd definitely be along as it's local, if it get's off the ground i'll watch out for octobers meet.

ok guys it turned out to be a small meet but worth checking out. good food and cheap as you want chip butty £ 1.95 and plenty of room for parking. just watch the kerbs if you park nose in as frogfoot found out there a bit high!!

so going to run this one again in oct.
