Every website (ahem SN being a great one) on cars seems to have a section where chavs get overexcited about their cars (often Focus STs but also much lesser stuff) and claim they can slay pretty much anything. A classic on SN being a guy with a Leon with mild chipping that can "stay with an Evo FQ340" or "an R8..."

Of course all sorts have claimed they can have a 335d too (ahem Focus ST and several others...) so where is the comedy section in here? Or are you all too mature and grown up for that?!

Anyway a few have tried "racing" my soot chucking hearse and looked rather silly (I am a total car geek so will only have a go if I know I can win - if it's really quick, I leave it) - a sunroof comes in very handy for a little "wave" out of the roof after said slaying.

All good fun as long as it's safe and the "opponent" doesn't get all silly and road ragey.

Nope - I know there are plenty of faster cars out there than my 335d. And mine is a Touring. But dxb is still alive and kicking on another website...

Hmm, I think most people who buy a 335d, buy it as their first 'proper' car and get over excited, and perhaps cum in their trousers straight away.

Where's the fun in only drag racing things in a straight line that are slower?

Why don't you try taking on something a bit quicker/slower through the twisties and see how it goes for you... oh...

What "light" like your ancient and wheezy 840 for example? Probably BMWs worst ever design effort? 286bhp, same as mine yet 60 in almost 7 seconds because it weighs just a shade under 1900kgs?!! Makes mine look like a Caterham.

And why did you get a 2.5 Z4? Why not the proper engine? Or a proper Boxster? I bet you have the 174bhp model too? Even the 192bhp version seriously lacks any guts. Anyone would think you had an Elise FFS.

Had plenty of quick cars, tested many more up to silly quick but thanks for the input. The 335d is very capable in the twisties unlike and 840. And very quick in the straights. Unlike a 2.5 Z4. But plenty of other cars are of course quicker.

Now please jog on.

Anyway it looks like I've found the chavs of the forum which was my mission.

Your 335d is competent yet unremarkable.

Now wind your neck in.

Your M3 looks utterly ridiculous, your 530i is simply an ageing luxobarge.

Nice 2002 though.

Now wind your neck in too.

My sincere apologies.

Having said that, perhaps you would like to introduce yourself to your apostrophe key at some point.

Did you purely come on here to antagonise people? Because you really are coming across as a prize tt. A 2.5 litre Z4 has merits, as does your 335d and to say the 840 is BMW's worst design effort and preach about the virtues of your bangle-esque 3-series makes me question your sanity.

What gives you the right to question anyones choice of car, personally I buy my cars to please myself and suit my needs. I'm sure your 3 series meets your needs and thats great, but why the need to try and put others down, do you have some odd psychological disorder?

And as for racing others on the public road, I'm glad you are driving a modern car with a good safety rating, because by the sounds of things you will need it.

Please either learn to respect others on this site or just ps off back to where you came from.

Thanks smile

Well if it boils down to a battle of who can write the best, I suggest you check the copy on one of Oxford University's larger college websites; the one that I wrote all the copy for.

Following that you can read a numerous articles in the national press driven by press releases written and sent by my good self.

Once you have frothed over all that, you are welcome to pick my posts to pieces.

Having got through all that, we could even talk about cars? But I somehow doubt that will happen.

Pat - did I dive in and slate people's cars without any provocation? No I didn't. I simply reacted to a ridiculous post written by a deluded bloke that clearly spends his entire life posting messages on this website.
