Hi guys need some help, does anyone know the torque settings for the threaded bolt which clamps the bottom of the front suspension leg behind the front hub. Car is an E46 328i 1998. I have done them up as tight as i think is safe, but the leg still seems to slip down a fraction once driven. scratchchin

Steve.

"Steering knuckle to spring strut" ? If so that's 81Nm and the screw needs to be replaced, according to TIS

Sounds like it, i did it up to 65Nm and it felt like it wanted to snap, so that's why i stopped, the bolts were new, just seemed very tight yikes
