As I am at present looking to buy my first griff, I thought all you present owners out there could give me a helping hand choosing the colour, I know you might think it's all down to personal choice, and you would be right, but with these cars the colours can either make or break a car, just thought it be helpful if I knew what sort of colour combinations were out there.
Pix would be helpful, and I'm sure everyone has pix of there pride and joy. Not sure how easy it is to post pix on here, if not possible then let me know and I'll post my mail address.

thanx in advance, steve.

You could have a look through the classified on here.

Also you can get a list of all the members profiles on PH who have Griff's and just trawl through thier profiles. A majority have pics attached to them.

Hi Steve,
A true classic combination of Silver/Burgundy
Sorry i cant post a pic but i'm sure Simpo will oblige later.... although the interior is a touch lighter than mine also looks better with with a wooden dash IMHO

You have answered your own question, there are so many variations out there it is purely personal taste - most people fall into the camp of wanting a dark 'subtle' colour, or a bright 'loud n proud' colour.

Resale you will never go far wrong with blue, red and silver, also some of the more conservative greens... myself personally i would love to have mine resprayed bright lacquer pink... thing is I'd never be able to park it in Huddersfield town centre again

Also a contrasting body/interior usually works better than both the same, i.e say dark blue over cream or grey leather opposed to blue on blue.

If you do a search you will find somewhere not so long ago a thread along the lines of "pics of your pride and joy" - good luck

hi steve.personally i think that the darker colours suit the griff better, and i feel a lighter interior to contrast with the exterior goes well.this combination is probably the hardest to look after however,as the dark paint shows up light scratches, wax and dirt too well, and the lighter the interior, then the more it shows up dirt in the leather cracks, dye from your denim,etc.etc.this is what i find with mine.the most practical combination for me would be something like silver outside and black inside.but i love my starmist blue/magnolia combination all the same(see piccie on profile).its worth taking the advice of many on here though to make sure you get a dark colured dash top to stop v.annoying windscreen glare.above all tvrs arent about practicality,so choose with your heart, there are some real stunners out there.

Indeed I remember that, it was about 10 pages long, full of pictures and became totally un-loadable as thread for those of us without ADSL Me? I wanted a traditional green but something more interesting on the inside other than magnolia. Rich...

Once you have factored price, mileage, history and location into your buying decision, you may find that your colour options are not that great.

But mine is Imperial blue with magnolia interior and I think that looks pretty good.

non-Griff owner here but my sentiments exactly. The same goes with most TVR's, even with the ever-so-common Chimaera

Price, condition, mileage, history and then think about colour. Not easy when there are so few for sale...

IMHO, the Griff is one of the few cars that suits any colour (view the page on the Griff Growl). Just buy the one you fall for.

I personally love that colour! There was a very similar one at the Brighton run, in fact it may even be the same purplish colour that just looks abit more pink in some lights.
