Hmmmmm, I love the way self builds can seemingly completely ignore all of the H&S bullst we professionals come across

Near zero PPE in the slab vid, and peeps lumping far more than 19kg about too from what I can see

Are you talking about the DPC or the DPM?

I expect the DPC went in as the sole plates were fitted.
The DPM, insulation, under floor heating and final screed will go in room by room at some later date and need not be done until the building is up and sealed.

Steve has it. DPC went in as a sheet stuck to the underside of the sole plate timbers. DPM (polythene sheet by any other name) will be laid in each room and lapped up the walls to meet the DPC. We'll have 120mm insulation laid on top of that, more sheeting to hold the screed, then underfloor heating (water pipe) and screed go on top.

I hate that 'Compare the Meerkat' advert. Every time I explain a build sequence I want to end by saying 'Simples'.

Took a bit of time to process, but there's the roof going on. From bare foundations to roof on took a team of three men 15 days. Not bad going.
