If you can have a Tuscan Red Rose package, why can't you have a Cerbera Speed Six Red Rose option fitted?

Surely it's the same engine. Am I being thick and there's an obvious reason for this that I can't see that doesn't affect the engine?

The Tuscan Red Rose package was applied to the Speed Six engine (and included suspension modifications).

The Cerbera Red Rose package is applied to the AJP8 engine (there isn't a Cerbera Speed Six Red Rose as far as I'm aware).

TVR Power in Coventry are now doing S6 upgrades. I had a brief chat with them about it on Tuesday. I presume they can upgrade any S6 engine.

Yes, there were mods to the Tuscan S6 engine (up 20bhp to 380bhp I think) as well as the suspension. Of course the original Red Rose Tuscan has been superceded by the Tuscan S now.

The Cerbera S6 engine is basically the same as the original 4 litre Tuscan engine (360bhp), but they didn't offer the Red Rose engine upgrades for it.

One of the official TVR dealers was selling an upgraded Speed Six Cerbera around September/October, who it was I can't remember. But it did say that the car was running at 390 - 400bhp.

Us AJP V8 boys will be a dying breed unfortunately. Friend of mine is buying a Cerb S6 and wanted to know about upgrades thus the question.
