It starts by saying that girls' lives are ruined by 'husbands' and 'babies' and 'HIV' (I didnt realise the latter was sex-spcific)

Then goes on to say that if we let women run the Town Hall, babies will be healthier even though it has said that babies ruin their lives. (not to mention how they 'created' the baby)

I agree. I would be willing to bet that the concept was created and turned into this ad by "a girl". There are just a few minor problems in that ad (assuming we are going to ignore the fact that it gives no indication why only females could make this work):

their plan:
-remove the girl from her family
-force her to take out a loan
-with that loan she buys a cow
-"the cow turns into a herd" (I dont think they have quite got this whole "reproduction" thing. At the very least they should make the girl take out a bigger loan so she can get a cow and a bull )
-she then gets taken away from her cows so she can become a local MP (I know how attached girls can get to their pets. After already being forced to leave her family I suspect there might be some opposition to leaving her cows too!)

What happens when there's a drought and the Cow dies and she has to work in a brothel to make the repayments or the loansharks who gave her the loan will kill her family, then ends up a herion riddled suicide statistic after her family have disowned her?

Oh I agree, but personally I think the true point of it is that there are people living in poverty and if we gave them some money or a cow they would be better off. It is no different to any normal oxfam etc charity appeal asking for £3 a month.
