S6 (Early V8) Avant towbar options?

Having previously owned a 100S4 which had a factory removeable 'bar, I am seriously considering returning to the fold for my next car. The early (2001ish-on?) V8 S6's are serious bargains and I loved my old S4.

But I must have a towbar!

I suspect the Audi towbar was an option on the S6 but can it be retrofitted? Any idea on cost?

I think it's worth asking as on some cars (E46 M3 etc I think) you just can't fit a towbar at all.

Might be interested in a tad of tweakage too if someone could point me in the right direction?

Never had one fitted to an S6 myself but have seen a couple of customer cars with them on.

I would reccomend the Towbar Man South on 01252 543 999 for a firm answer and pricing. They will usually fit Witter or Bosal.

As for upgrades your first port of call should be a milltek - the noise brings a big grin factor with it
