I have placed a holding deposit on a MCS yesterday having viewed it at the weekend, i'm going back today for another look and test drive and to say yes or no on the purchase.

Do you think £17k for the following spec is ok?

  • EDITED TO SAY REMOVED FROM MINI.CO.UK SO THIS THE ONLY PIC I HAVE*
http://www.minicherished.co.uk/AUC/vehicle_images/...

Chili Red
April 09
5k miles
Carbon Scoop
Carbon boot strip
CHILI Pack
JCW 18" Wheels
JCW Bodykit
Colour Line Rooster Red
Front Centre Arm Rest
Full Bluetooth with USB.
Interior Trim Fluid Silver
Multifunction for S/Wheel
Roof&Mirror Caps In White
White Bonnet Stripes

"MCS" private plate

Or even does anyone know of this car?

Well in any case i've been, 45min test drive (on my own, makes a 1st) and hopefully pick up a week on Wednesday.... smile

Also tyres arent runflats, dont know if this is normal or not (they are 215x35x18 Toyo Proxes T1-R)?

Looks good - apart from navigation that seems to tick all the boxes, and thats a bit of a marmite option (I didnt get it)....

Non runflats are now an option from the factory I believe but not sure from when - Anyway as those will have been dealer fit wheels (as all the JCW accessories are) then its nothing unusual.....runflats destroy the ride anyway so your better off without them, am just waiting for mine to wear out so I can get something better...................

I was pleasantly surpised at the ride in the 45 mins i was in the car, was expecting it to be far harsher than it was.
I'm trying to find out how much the JCW 18's and bodykit would cost if buying new? Just trying to get a ball park figure for how much the car was worth at list, i'm thinking £21k currently (using mini.co.uk the options + car come to just over £19k but this is without the JCW wheels/bodykit/carbon parts).

The JCW accessory prices are a little bit eye watering

I think the bodykit is about £1300 and the wheels are nearly 2k from BMW.
