How did Piquet actually crash?

Has the evidence been released?

Was it an obvious change of line, or throttle too early?
And was some coded message sent from the team to indicate when to do it?

Evidence is his word and data which shows he lost control either on purpose or not of the car and crashed, data only from the one lap no previous data to compare. Seemed to require him smashing it to bits in stead of just trundeling into the wall. ste driver, ste at crashing too it seems.

Supposedly when his team told him to "push" he was supposed to crash that lap.

That's it really.

Data shows much more throttle much earlier than expected (from comparison with other drivers), with thottle application increasing rather than decreasing once the wheels started spinning.

In the other threads the data traces have been published/leaked and posted by other forum members. It shows that Piquet did a lift of the throttle, then planted it when he felt the wheels starting to spin. He kept the throttle at 100% until after the impact with the barrier.

There was also a pretty meaningless comparison to a completely different lap from Alonso. All that showed was what Alonso did when he had some wheelspin at that corner, but it didn't take into account the different fuel loads, tyres, car setup, driving style or any other number of factors.

Seen data suggesting once traction had broken he continued to plant it. Alonso data shows a lift when the wheels lost traction momentarily.

One thing that perplexes me is why they even arranged a crash. It surely would have been easier and less disruptive to engineer an intermittent technical "problem" leading Junior to come to a stop in such a way as to require the pace car.

The whole thing is pretty damning, he was either REALLY on it that lap and had a monster brain fade or did just mash the throttle and slide into the wall.

tbh he's just as guilty as the other 2 and only blew the whistle as he got the boot but that's just MHO.
