The new format for this year includes two stages on the seafront in Tobermory (used for the opening sequence in the kids programme Balamory), which will be a spectacle!!

I remember the last one!! Last time round the clock tower...

Well I get home from Baku on 8th Oct so if I can persuade Mrs Tosser to let me go I just might see you there Duncan. If Eric is not already going I could try to persuade him to come along, I have a motorhome so I have accomodation if I can get ferry crossings, not sure Eric would be up for sleeping in the MH though.

We had a busy afternoon that year, I was driving the blue Golf with the Safety Officer and I can't remember if you or the orange one was first, and we'd already been into the stage 'cos of some pikey spectators on bikes who were flying up and down the stage and moor generally being arses.

I'll be doing the same job in Balamory and on Calgary again saturday afternoon - let's hope they haven't gravelled the bends round the rocks again this year, we had 4 off on the chippings that had been laid last year...
