I can never get this thing to work properly for me!

I'm trying to find the picture of the Spanish Olive Karmann Ghia in the Readers Cars section that was posted a couple of years ago.


I've tried all the key words I can think of & it still comes back blank.

Am I the only one who struggles to use the facility? Or am I using it wrong?

The search doesn't go back more than two years, so this will be why it's not finding that topic.

The only thing I can suggest is trying typing siteistonheads.com/gassing into google along with whatever keywords you want to search for and see if that picks it up.

Would anyone else find it useful if the search function operated in two stages, searching first through thread titles and subsequently through the body of threads. The search results could be displayed in two sets too, with 'title' results first, then the results as now below.

So often, I can recall a word from the title, but that word may have been barely used within the thread itself. So stacking the results by 'frequency of search term' is no help.

There is a "Search Titles Only" box on the advanced search, but unfortunately it is broken at the moment.
