Got a new bed from a well known store, who's name would indicate that you go into a state of pleasent REM. Well what a bunch of bds they have turned out to be!

fktard salesperson sold my wife and I a memory foam bed, which on the face of it was pricey, but very comfortable. Waited a couple of weeks for it to be delivered and then the bds left us to put it all together and dispose of enough packaging that you could gift wrap a fking family saloon car in it. tts.

I have spent 3 weeks trying to sleep on this new mirace bed using "NASA technology". Well if fking NASA used this technology in everything they did, they wouldn't be able to put a man in on the fking Isle of Man, never mind the bloody Moon. And if they suceeded, the astronaut would have combusted because this bed is just too fking hot to sleep in. The bd matress is sucking the water out of my body. It's trying to fking kill me.

So on the phone to fktard who told me that I have the bed 60 days so its out of wksheet that is the 'Comfort Guarantee'. We only got the blood thing at the end of August. The tt obviously cannot do basic arithmetic (hence why he sells evil beds).

So, finally he tells me that there is a 40 day exchange period. But you can't do anything for 30 days, and then nothing again after 40 days - and you have to ring the special number that puts you into the telephone call centre abyss that is customer "services".

After ageing whilst waiting for the call centre dragon to get off her lunch break and rid herself of wind and piss (and me growing stubble after waiting so fking long) she says that I had a discount when I bought the bed, and this invalidates the fking "guarantee". As a matter of "goodwill", if I repay the £163 discount, and pay £35 on top, I can choose a new matress - but not the rest of the fking bed, which must be worth all of £200. What an absolute bunch of s. Everything works their fking way! Who the fk makes up these rules? No doubt I will also need to present a lucky rabbits foot, show them a passport proving I was born on the 29th February in a non-leap year, and give them a cross eyed pygmy's foreskin harvested at the urnal equinox in order to comply with their requirements.

What an absolute bunch of scheisters. I hope they go fking bust. bds!

So anyone buying a bed, don't get one from this bunch of sleezy fking s. Go elsewhere.

I purchased a bed from the same place, we did not pay for the charge to put it together onsite as we did it ourselves

Bed assembled within 30 minutes. Lovely mattress and great sales people - they even sent me out a couple of slats free when one broke.

I guess for every company there are good and bad stories though.

8/10.
Very vitriolic, only let down by slightly unimaginative swearing.
Overall a very solid rant.

Just sleep on it. You'll feel better after a good nights rest.

So the mattress was comfortable in the store, but the (presumably same model) that was delivered is not? Or are you blaming the bed itself, as I dont see how that can give an uncomfortable nights sleep, its surely all the mattress.

I tried one of those memory foam ones. It's obviously very cold in space as NASA seem to have developed a substance that replicates sleeping on a recently lit barbecue. Or perhaps it was designed by a cold woman. Either way I needed a life jacket to sleep on it I was sweating so hard.

Dear TUS 373,

have you tried opening a window?
Or maybe changing that handsome nightcap/cotton winceyette pajama/bedsocks combination for something cooler?

A good rant and fine banter, glad to see you're keeping a sense of humour about it all.

Did they warn you about the discount/guarantee incompatibility and in their terms and conditions and in writing?
If you really want to go the full distance with this then small claims/trading standards might be the route, this site is pretty good for consumer complaints clinky

regards,
Jet

My thoughts exactly.

For approximately 6 months of the year from May onwards, I will sleep with a fan next to my bed. It's the only way I can keep cool without scratching myself into a bloody, bloody thing.

Theyre talking BS about the discount affecting your statutory rights, as already mentioned.

You might find its the quilt thats making you too hot, i had to change mine when i got a memory foam matress.

I opted for a pocket sprung and memory foam matress though to stop me sinking all the way into it, very comfy.
