Subwoofer wiring

I've decided to upgrade the sound system and I've bought a little sub to sit behind the seat and this needs to be wired to the battery. What i'm wondering is whats the best way of routing a cable from behind the seats to the battery?
Anybody else who has done this got any advice?

Straight out through the firewall.
Drill in from the engine side so you dont "nick" any wires or pipes.

I would have though the biggest challenge was getting a cable from the head to the sub neatly

Peel back the carpet, hide it under then re-stick carpet. Will be a bit harder for RCA leads but I'm sure it will be fine.

In fact, you could route them into the tunnel then out of the tunnel behind the seat.

My car seems to have the upgraded speaks and they have enough base. not sure why you would need sub. just change to components.

I use the JL Audio components too, very good for the money.

I've gone with JL too, and removed the black rubber cover from behind the speakers (car is only out in the dry) and i have to turn the base down on the head unit as the sealed FG door acts like a base box and i find it loud enough!

Put some dynamat on the inside of the door behind the speaker, this will help prevent vibration and direct the sound into the car.
