What "other" wheels will fit the Cerbera ?
Discussion
There's been lots of discussion on here in the past about the possibility of using wheels off various other cars.
I tried the wheels off an R-34 Skyline I had when I bought my Cerbera and they fitted.
Someone else mentioned that standard wheels off a Lexus will fit straight on.
So, why not actually compile a list of what will actually fit and what will need to be done to get them to fit.
Oh, and pics of the wheels on the car would be a bonus .....

A lot of jap wheels will fit the stud pattern, then it's just a case of ordering the size and offset. There's a yank company called Fikse which make very nice, albeit bling wheels which I've always thought were pretty cool. Possibly more suited to muscle cars but the quality is supposed to be beyond reproach. Not sure what they'd look like on a cerb but the FM5 is a nice looking wheel. I'm happy with the spiders but like a dished design to give a car a bit of presence. YMMV

I'd never heard of those before.

I reckon there are loads bargain options available for us in the Jap ranges.
Hopefully somebody who knows how to use PhotoShop will come along now and save us the expense of buying wheels to see what the are like.

114.3x5 is a common Japanese fitment and you can get the offsets for some wheel sizes e.g. 17x8s that I've been looking at, but not for others - e.g. 17x9s which I'm looking at for rears. I'm basing this on Matt from SP recently pointing out that the 18" spider fronts used on Cerbs are ET42. This might mean some arch grinding is required even for standard width tyres. The remaining problem is the centre bore of the wheel chosen. You can get some wheels with a large enough centre bore (Cerb is 72.1mm iirc) as some generic fitments are reported as 73mm or 75mm and you then don't need custom wheels made for you. Weds appear to be big enough in our fitment, I can't find any info on Volk wheel centre bores. The problem I've noticed though, is that when you use a hub centric ring for wheel alignment you may not be able to fit a wheel centre.
That's as far as I've got, hope it helps.

I spent a lot of time looking into this and the biggest problem is finding wheels that you like with suitable offsets, you are quite limited to the type of wheel that can be fitted.I have 18" Fox RS wheels on mine 8J 35 offset front~ 9J rear, cant remember the offset on these. The best thing to do is discuss it with a wheel supplier.
The hardest thing where I live is getting a wheel supplier who's even willing to try to find something that'd work.
I suppose the main idea of this thread is to get the knowledge and experience of those who have found alternative wheels and have it one place for the rest of us to benefit from.

I've got 17"x8" wheels fitted to mine, 35mm offset (same as the original 16" ones). They needed a spacer ring to fit the hub, but have been no problem otherwise. They weigh 7Kgs each and the cost was about £450.

I did it mainly for better tyre choice. Interestingly enough, the wheel with the tyre on it weighed about the same - 20Kgs I think for both 16" an 17".
Ride quality is about the same, mainly as I'm still using 45 profile tyres front and rear, but only 225 wide (speed six size). These widths fit the 8" wide rims well.

My aftermarket 19'2 are lighter than my 18" RLs and tyres.
Mainly due to the huge tyres on the 18's.
Did you fit the Vredstein Sessanta's to the RLs? What size did you go for on the front?Mainly due to the huge tyres on the 18's.
They only seem to do a 225/40 or a 235/40 (ie no 35 profile like Toyo do) so I'm wondering if either fit at the front without rubbing.
40 profile tyres on the front spiders fit easily because they are 'stretched' and therefore the sidewalls are not vertical.
