Hi guys, couple of questions

Recently (700 miles) ago had a new set of front discs and pads fitted to the car.

I seem to be getting a lot of squeeking when braking from the front wheel, worse so that the old ones, i would have thought they would have bedded in by now, all discs and pads were correct sizes etc and fitted by a mechanic.. Any ideas on that??

Also when i drive the car i notice that one of the wheels squeeks rather loud obviously getting quicker the faster i drive and more prominant if i turn the wheel to the right only seems to be the offside though, could this be linked to brake change or could this be a wheel bearing issue seems a coincidence to me?

Lastly when i depress the brake peddel it seems to make a rather loud noice coming from the engine and doesnt subside, if i pump it harder get squeeks more, (lots of squeeks this car) could this be brake servo or cylinder or something along those line, plus its not always there just now and then

Anyway sorry for the long post, opinions greatly appreciated

Cheers

What discs and pads are fitted. If they used cheap ones they will squeel, especially cheap pads, so I'd find out where he got them from.

I'd also ask for a second opinion that they have been fitted correctly and are seated right if there is a rotating squeel/squeek when not on the brakes.

brakes will often squeek if no copperslip has been put on the back of the pad where it touches the piston pagid pads are good
