Anyone else had Ipod connection issues

Hi all,

Im having a problem where my ipod will randomly disconect and jump back to fm tuner. Im using the 6fl connection in the armrest. Car is E92 m3.

This is a known issue in the states but my dealership tell me that this has never been reported in the uk.

I have replaced the usb port, tried a different lead but with no joy.
I have asked the dealer to confirm that my idrive software is current but they want to charge me for the pleasure.

So has anyone else experienced this and if you have please let me know how you fixed this.

Otherwise the car is fantastic.
