Noticed that this hadn't been discussed and certainly think its worthy of a bit of praise.

Really good show, knowingly stupid but with a nice, crafted subtlety to it. Up there with the best TV i can find at the moment.

Anyone else a fan?

(Edited to add a special mention for Murray Hewitt. One of the best characters ever.)

Kind of.

As in, I was just getting into it, but then it disappeared off telly - but I'm guessing it well be back on BBC3 soon.

I often hear people saying 'if you like Mighty Boosh - you should watch the Concords' and I admit to being a Huge fan of the Boosh!!

Although I have noticed The Mighty Boosh doesnt always get a warm reception on the pages of PH.

Enjoyed both first and second series a lot. I think it's finished for good now (sadly) but hopefully they'll all pop up in other things.

Ps. it was discussed a while ago here....

One of my favourite shows - the first time i saw it was on a flight to San Francisco, I was laughing so hard a flight attendant came running up the aisle to see what was wrong.

Second series was on BBC4 a couple of months ago.

It's very very very good, Not quite great though.

It has some of the funniest comedy moments ever made but they seem to struggle to stretch it to 30mins each episode.

Definately worth watching though.

Listen to the original Radio series narrated by Rob Brydon. IMO it works better than the TV series

A big fan here. Only got into it during the recent second series, and quickly had to go out and buy the 1st.

It is one of very few recent comedy series that has had me laughing out loud!

Murray is the star of the show by far smile

Very funny. The second series kinda stretches the "naive kiwi" a bit but there are some very classic moments - Bowie episode for example and the "Kiwi" posters in the embassy are funny. The songs are great also, worth downloading/buying the album. Fun working out who they are parodying: Inner City Pressure = Pet Shop Boys, The Most Beautiful Girl (in the room) = Prince etc. Favourites are Think About, Ladies Of The World, Mutha'uckas and of course Business Time. I was under the impression that they were in the process of shooting a third series?
