Was talking to a colleague of mine this morning, when he sent me pics... he said...

"Really bizarre weather pattern that dragged the dust up from the desert in south Australia.. about 1000kms away dumped it all the way over nsw and qld (1000kms north of Syd), everything was covered in this fine chalky orange dust. Absolute mayhem for traffic, airport ferries etc, but looked absolutely amazing!"
