Specialised Paintwork Open day 10th of October

Karl, Alan, Liz Rigarlsford and the team would like to host SELOC and like minded Automobile, Car, Petrolheads to there workshop at Pincents Kiln in Reading, any time after 09:30.
This is to coincide with the Thatcham Classic car show. On display will be Alan's Dailmler Dingo.
Tea Coffee and bacon sandwiches will be laid on whilst everyone views some of the Customer cars which have been restored at Specialised Paintwork.
Alan Karl and the team will be available to chat from Alan’s days at Mike Spence Racing in the early 60’s, through to Porsche, starting Specialised with Karl some 20 years ago and the team to help with technical questions about Lotus, Porsche….

For the day a 10% discount on labour and materials only – work booked on the 10th of October 2009 this open day, to be completed before Christmas 2009.

Some customers cars that may be coming:
- Matt black VR6 (some nice engine mods)
- Ruff 911.
- a man in the Motor industry from Guildford with a Pistachio Elan S4.
- James from Lotus who is trying to get there, but due to the Press messing up his Black Evora he does not know what car it will be.
- black 211
- Red Dino
Back in the days of Mike Spence Racing, Alan used to prepare these Elans:
He painted them a metallic green with day glow orange bumpers with Chrome BRM letters around the Lotus badge at the front.
Mike Spence was allowed to do this as he drove F1 for them. This was before the Sprint. Now Engine mods were also included.
This one here has had a respray and the BRM letters have been put back wrong.
The Rocker cover was orange too like this:
