Seems cheap, or is that the going rate for one of those over there?

Thats 14K in my money....not a bad price looks good, well kept.

Hard to say without doing a test drive but on face value definately worth it

Customer of mine paid 14K for a 2004 XKR convertible......that was cheap!

I like it but have not seen it in person. That is starting to be the going price for those; however, XKRs usually cost a bout 5-6K more. I am not sure why this one is cheaper.

Is it cheap?. Import it into the UK & add 15% VAT plus 10% import duty plus freight ($2K) plus transport from Lexington to Houston/New York ($1K) plus maritime insurance. I know. I did it last year with an XK8. And you have to be careful the pics have not been computer enhanced. Safest bet is to get a local expert to look at the car. Cost me $80. First car the expert looked at he rejected (& did not charge). Second car was OK except for minor problems (stone chips to the front, two new tyres & a blocked wiper).Oh & I forgot the car then has to be modified to get a MOT (cost circa 1000 pounds).

I am looking at these older ones because I still have not bought off on the new style. I know the new one is a superior car all around and it does look great. However, the fron tof the old one looks better IMO; the new one looks "snapped on". I believe the curves of the old are more timeless, like the E-Type, and will not grow old.

I am in the Los Angeles area and the prices in the States have always seemed quite a bit better than across the pond. Nevertheless, the price for this one seems particularly aggressive but the photos certainly make it look like quite a clean car (unless there is something hidden).

Jags and Land Rovers get rapped on the used car market in the U.S., which I have always taken as a plus, since I only buy used. I like to let the first owner pay for the depreciation.... smile
