Looking at getting a bike on the cylce to work scheme, ours is pretty st and I fancy a cyclo cross jobby but it has to be through Wheelies.

I've spotted this one - http://www.wheelies.co.uk/p28130/Specialized-Tricr...

I know there are better bikes, but the next one up is this one, http://www.wheelies.co.uk/p28132/Specialized-Tricr... , is it really 150 better?

Cheers,

Cramman.

If you're not just using it as a commuter hack I would be inclined to spend another £300 over the basic Tricross (which will actually cost you around £15 extra pcm throuch a Cycle to work scheme) and get a Scott CX Comp.

Lighter and faster than the Specialized and a great looking bike as well:

It would be used as a commuter/when ever I fancy a pedal about bike. Not racing etc.
I know what your saying. And I spotted that one myself. Will have to have a think.
I don't really need a 1000 pound bike, do I?
