Peugeot vs Audi and the debut of Drayson's Lola Coupé. Corvette vs Porsche vs Ferrari in GT2.

Just gutted I'm not there 'live' as it were - friends of our live within ear-shot of the circuit and can hear the race from their back yard, but I can't afford the time or cost to get over there

So I guess t'internet and Motors TV will have to suffice

The Drayson Lola looked rather nice in the test weekend pictures I've seen.

Audi are running Le Mans spec bodywork/aero so I suspect this is another test race for them. At a recent Estoril test they took along an R10 to compare against the R15. The R10 was significantly quicker apparently.

Peugeot didn't run at the (wet) test weekend.

ETA: Looks like MotorsTV are taking the RLM audio feed so that simplifies the living room A/V setup for the weekend!

They did that for Sebring, and very good it was too. Got a bit confusing with all the ad breaks for different channels at times though !!

Looks like a very strong Peugeot showing in first practice. How will they cope with the predicted rain during the race though? They really don't like the wet stuff.

Good showing from the de Ferran Acura as well. This looks like it could be an excellent race.

Think those are the Central Eurpoean times, coverage on Sat is 16.00 BST. The Drayson Lola has to be one of the best looking cars I've ever seen, I know who we'll be supporting at La Sarthe next June.

It's certainly better looking than the Patron Highcroft Acura at the moment. Scott Sharp totaled it in practice and they're not sure if they'll make the race yet, all depends on the condition of the tub.

The pictures on DSC are quite something.

Ah, excellent. I haven't found the video of it yet.

Highcroft have said the tub is scrap so they're bringing a new one in and hope to have it built up in time. Rather echos last year.

was until i got bored of the red flag action and went to bed. It didn't look like clearing up anytime soon, which was a shame 'cos the racing looked pretty good
