few problems

Hi all
Few problems with my elise s2 k series. The first is a squeky steerng wheel, sounds like its coming from the steering arm. Cluch pedal also feels different . Feels sticky when in gear. The last problem is when I've been driving for arud ten minutes the rear drivers side suspension starts knocking, any one else had these problems before? Any ideas?

Cant answer your questions I'm afraid, but I too have the squeaky steering wheel problem, which even our local lotus dealer could not sort, so I'd be keen to hear any suggestions/solutions. Mine is only at slow speed, ie parking up, reversing off drive, giving it full lock etc.

(Its not the actual wheel itself, sounds like its somewhere down the steering column)

Yeh mine is only at slow speeds asweel wen I'm parking. It sounds like something is rubbing

Mine is an elise s but I had similar problem with steering wheel deer at Leicester knew about it and said just needed to move the wheel futher away from the column a very quick job apparently. Mine is the Airbag wheel but they mentioned that the old one did it as well. Might be worth a call to stratstone Leicester for confirmation. Hope this helps

Last problem sounds like worn toe link joints.

...or ball joints needing attention. IIRC something to do with manifold exit or summat which warms up that side very quickly and if it needs regreasing then it'll knock once the grease is hot and thins.
