My contact at the local dealership has given me details of a GTV that is for sale.

I've always discounted a GTV as I have 2 children, and although there are rear seat, they look tiny. So, my question is, are the rear seats usuable for 2 small children (2 & 5) on an occasional basis?

The model in question is a 2.0 TS, 1999 with good history. Around 100k.
Black with tan leather.

Is the 2.0 a good all rounder, or it V6 much more fun?!

Thanks again,

Darren.

I have a GTV and 2 kids the same age, they do fit in the back, though the 2yr olds britax seat is a tight squeeze getting it in through the door/front seat.

However neither like it as they cant see anything (their usual transport is a volvo s60)

If you can stomach the lower fuel consumption, higher insurance, and can actually find one, the v6 is the better bet, they just sound awesome with a decent exhaust on.

The problem with the 2 litre is that it has all the pitfalls of the GTV (turning circle, space) without the lovely engine

If you can live with (urban) 20-25 mpg I would go for the V6. Insurance shouldn't be too bad despite being group 19, as the value of the car is now quite low.
