2006 TDV6 Range Rover Sat Nav upgrade?

Hi All

Land Rover has just invited me to upgrade the mapping on my Sat Nav at a cost of £140.00.

I am sure that when I last bought a non Land Rover mapping disc it was a fraction of the cost.

So, have I GOT to use Land Rover's maps or can I buy a vanilla mapping disc and run it in my Land Rover sat nav?

I think you can buy them direct from Denso (assuming you have a Denso system) for less than LR charge.

Not sure but I am guessing they are the same. Have you got an up to date disc then?

i have a 06 56, is the new disc alot better than the original?
