Like a bit of junk so looking forward to 2012. It will be rubbish i know but should be good to see the effects.

The Day the Earth Stood Still was a crap film, but good effects in IMAX !

Seeing Dorian Gray next week with any luck.

Looking forward to 9 (comes out over here at the end of October) and Alice in Wonderland (2010!).

I am looking forward to the new Dambusters film. I am hoping given Peter Jackson's involvement and that Stephen Fry is writing the script that they will do a good job.

I have a 6 screen and a 12 (I think, might be 8) screen cinema near me and they only showed it a couple of times between them. It was worse before the 12 screen got built, apparently 6 screens aren't enough to show cube/pleasentville/virgin suicides/many other films I had to go 25 miles to see.

Frankly I feel too much was made of this film...overall its average...and when you consider its a small budget indie film then yes its a good attempt...but I'd go no further than that.

For me the story had the feel of one of those 'Outer Limits' episodes that had been bulked up to a 1 hour 40 minutes film.

All IMHO

The remake of Clash of the Titans, with modern CGI that will be spectacular.
The remake of Total Recall, apparently more like the short story, less of an Arnie action platform.
The next Batman installment, the last two have been brilliant.
Starfighter, long long awaited sequel to one of my favourite childhood films.

And now I can't wait to see the new Mad Max films that I didn't even know were being made!

Now District 9...
...is awesome. I won't say anything (since it sounds like you are going to watch it anyway) but it's a rollercoaster ride and well worth seeing in the cinema.
