Valve twist and punctures...
Discussion
How to describe this... looking at wheel, valve at 12 o clock, pointing straight down to 6 o clock. Fine.
After a ride or so looking at wheel with valve at 12 o clock, it is now pointing to 4.30! And as such unless I deflate wheel, move inner tube round to re-align valve, the valve will 'pull' itself away from the inner tube - so new tube needed.
I am not going tubeless, so thats not an option. Riding is all off road. Standard mtb wheels (mavic 717)
When I inflate the tyre, I do so without the retaining screw on, and when inflated, put the screw on. Pressure - around 35/40 or so.
Any ideas why the inner tube insists on moving round?
Cheers
Dave
ps....mate took delivery of 2010 Zesty 514 yesterday, went out for a ride... that is a very nice piece of kit...

Try another 10 psi and try deflating and rotating the tire, it could be that the bead on the rim is either not under enough pressure or not actually seated correctly in the rim.
Have you had any punctures recently, maybe you bonded the tube to the tire? any movement of the tire on the rim will take the tube with it. also have you screwed down the valve tight enough?
