Where to service a Gallardo

Car is almost 3 years old and having had 2 minor services is now due a major service, as its still under warranty should it go to the main agents ?,any indys recommended in the south east ? and what should I be looking at paying.

I had a "major service" carried out on my Gallardo at Lamborghini Wycombe Service, very happy with them and what they did, cost was just over £3K including a couple of extras, such as having the orange side indicator lenses replaced with white ones! Rob

I thought it was a major service every other year - should have been a major at year two, so year three should be a minor one?

There are a few people on here that have had issues with some of the main dealers/service agents (myself included) and the name and shame policy may be discouraging them from posting replies to you. I haven't heard anything bad about the newer dealer(s) yet, except of course they haven't had the franchise for long so experience may not be as much as others.

Plenty of other people on here have always talked highly of the independents though - I've not seen any bad reports about them so far (again name and shame may be preventing that). For the South East, there's Grimaldi Engineering who list Gallardo services at £750/£1750 for minor/major plus parts and VAT on their website. They are in Halsted, Essex if that's any use.
