Hi Guys

I dont normally post here, but this afternoon while driving from an external site visit back to my office, I spotted a Ferrari P3/4!?!

Not the normal sort of thing you'd expect to see in Andover. As these are silly money, I assume its a replica? Was wondering if anyone knows who owns it? Sounded awsome!

There are some very convincing replicas about.
There was one at Goodwood recently with 308 running gear.
Could be the same car. Not a million miles away geographically.

So why wouldn't you expect to see these kind of cars in Andover?
Lots of rich people live in & around Andover & there are loads of cars like this around these parts of Hampshire.

Andover town is an utter dump (I work there and use to live up the road in Winchester) however, the surrounding villages are lovely, seen lots of exotica in and around Andover.

Which was exactly my point. It's not unusual to see "supercars" in or around Andover.

I think there's only two original P3/P4s in the UK and neither is road registered. I suspect current value of either is £4m+. As previously said there are some good replicas around form kits supplied by Noble and then Foreman cars

Erm you guys do know that there is arguably only one 330 p3/4, and thats the car that’s owned by Jim "Napolis" Glickenhaus (0846)

More details here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_P

Would suggest that the OP saw one of the 330 replicas out there, plenty of really good ones including a couple of 400 engined cars

Nice to see one, even if it was as not the real deal. Plenty of people pay money to look at Jordan's t!ts and they are far from real.

Chap who turns out for Sporting bears had his (replica) at The NEC this year. Still one of my fave ever car shapes.

Well, I mean I wouldnt expect to see an original exotica such as that in Andover, no offence was intended. Obviously working in Andover ive seen the odd Porker or Ferrari, although I spot more in Romsey where i live (including a lovely black 911 GT3 RS, who i was following rather rapidly through the backroads from brashfield - kings sombre a few weeks ago)

Ah i understand what you mean now.
Graned that Andover isn't the best place to live but surrouding villages etc are stunning.

Agreed Boobles, There are some seriously wealthy people in surrounding villages. I was told last week Theo wallcot was looking at houses around the upper chute area.
