Thunder Road HP figures

I was just looking through Attendees section for thunder road and was wondering why some of you have quoted FWHP??? This number is useless. The only one that matters is RWHP. So Why????????????????

Dont know what either is so ive quoted the BHP figure from when the car was new.

and we only really care about rwhp from SRR which has no vested interest in inflated figures

Please also mention whether the bonnet was up or down, what temperature the IAT was, what gear the run was done in & the tire presure used.

Now if Fraser hadn't bailed out on us we'd have a spreadheet covering the whole thing.

I put my own RWHP figure but my mates Corvette is manufacturers FW. Don;t know what his rw actual is until we get it on a dyno. Sorry Gal.

Well if you are stock your allowed to quote fwhp otherwise how in the hell did you measure fwhp? At the rear wheels by chance!?

I don't have a clue how much power mine has, wheels or flywheel. And using the TVR figures is just as pointless too, because they just guessed for most of the cars...

I'm just wanting to know how fast I can go without the roof coming off

Just signing up now, unfortunately can't get the Monaro there as it's on house hunting duty that weekend along with the driver

Pardon? If I think what your are saying is i dont know you are right. No one does until its measured, just best guess based on standard LS3 manufacturer claims + claimed remap gain. (425+20)

If stock you dont really know, if not stock you dont know unless it has been tested. Lets all put 'dont know' then eh ! If untested best guess should be fine as long as it is honest and not over inflated or deflated.
