Bought my 355 in May and the car need tax a few days later. When I was buying the tax I sent of the V5 to the DVLA, I still haven't received one back. What should I do?

Call the DVLA, they should be able to confirm where the V5 is over the phone (have done for me a few times when transfering plates)

Max time we've waited this year is 2 months, so I would suggest a problem, however I believe that your green slp will last upto 3 months.

Green slip allows it to be taxed upto 2months after purchase date.

Sorry for butting into your forum, but had the same problem with my Aston. Bought it over in Belfast at the end of July and tax disc expired that month. Had to go to local DVLA office who posted me new tax disc in time. When we did receive the new V5 they had managed to put the wrong model on the form so posted it back. Still not received it, so called yesterday and they explained probably caught up in postal strikes so sending another. Takes an age to get through to them and they'll all tell you different things, but follow up now or they may not be so helpful. good luck!
