What do you have planned for this Winter?

So what are any of you lot planning to buy and do to your griffs this winter, any projects going on, mods and maintainance jobs?

I`ll be doing sod all to mine, its taken me best part of a year to get it back on the road

Dash out and reveneer / swap vents for Tuscan / LE type vents while I'm at it.
Move battery
Refurb the clutch master and slave cylinders on the recommendation of a very nice man

Then just tinkering to make sure the car is ready for the big trip next year down to our house near Malaga via Classic Le Mans

Looking to do a full body off chassis restoration. Install Power flex bushes all around.Replace wishbones ......etc. With help from one or two of my mates !!

Sold it Jon. Yes,really sad now but major plans taking shape at the moment.

Replace all Bushes, not decided yet which way to go yet powerflex or standard.
replace the veneer on the dash replace all carpets as there looking a little tired.
Remove the pre-cats, replace all the hoses for Act blue silicon plus the metal ones for stainless steel.It has a straight through pipe at the moment but thinking of getting the Act cherry bomb instead, Clean down and repaint the chassis and generally tidy it back up.

HRG, I'm glad you get the ribbing on racks rather than me, mines gotta come out again, that'll be the fourth if not fifth time in 18mths, don't think they'll do it FOC this time though

Only had a leak when it got first done, now each time it fails more spectacularly.

As for the rest of the winter . .

Repair damage
Full re-spray
Wheel refurb
Full carpet re-trim
Possible re-brush dash
Speedo & tacho illumination upgrade
Repair broken handbrake ratchet mechanism
Repair recently ripped off rear ARB (whilst considering possible upgrade)
Possible prop shaft UJ's
Door top rear end caps - final solution time

After I've sorted something on Dad's before he sells his Chimaera . . . . . For a DB7 Vantage Volante manual when we find the right one

Replace Diff bushes and check all the drive-train UJs - replace if needed.
Remove dash and refit fuel gauge light that has dropped out.
Sort out hold/cold heater valve motor
Possible front end respray

Just to be really organised I have compiled a spreadsheet with jobs that need/I want to do over winter.
Its pinned up in the garage already.

Ranging from adjusting stuff/replacing annoying bits/modifying to take me over 300bhp/tarting things.........


The list is quite long, but maybe I am being picky.......







Plus it looks like I may be involved in a few body offs.....
