3 vs 3R

Could you guys let me know what the various pros and cons are of each model? Costs? Desirability? Performance? Upgrades?

Just quickly:

3R has different front lights and most are 6spd with TDS. GTO3's are mostly 5spd and not TDS.

I think leather was an option on the 3 but std on 3R. Although i prefer the alcantara look (it wears better).

I have a 2.5 5spd and the gear change is not great but i'm used to it. I found my friend 3R gear box hard to get used to (was only in it a short time though).

I think either is fine. Both boxes have a weakness if you drive too much power into them.
