A ten year old could fit that fan.
Why on earth would you fit an original one??
They fail all too readily, the resistor pack (I use the term loosely) is a couple of curly wires mounted on a plastic flap which in my case melted themselves into one of the fan rotors.
The ford fan is identical in size and shape with a decent ceramic resistor pack fitted,
the outer plastic lugs need cut off and a couple of 5/6/mm holes drilled for mounting to the original mounting points.
Jobs a big orange vegetable.

Will any Mk5 escort fan fit?
