GT5, this year, next year....when?

Hi, i just recieved an E-mail from game to say there has been a change to my pre-order (GT5) and that it will be released on the 9th of December!...should i ignore this...is this another case of Game picking dates out of the sky ?
Anyone else recieved it?,

Wasn't GT5 announced just after the PS3 was launched? At this rate it isn't going to be ready for the PS4!

Never trust anything from anyone apart from the developer itself. PD has said March 2010, it will not be before then.

PD has said March 2010 for Japan. It has said that dates for UK and US will be announced shortly. That could mean it is earlier, or it could mean it is later.

There is a theory floating around that it could be Dec 2009. This is mainly based on the fact that the new Final Fantasy game is released in Japan in December and that Sony wouldn't want two massive releases to clash. As Final Fantasy isn't out in other territories in Dec it leaves it free for GT5.

Personally I wouldn't hold your breath, but it would be nice if it happens.

Personally I really can't see PD releasing in other countries before Japan...

I do hope I'm wrong though.
