Most entertaining thread has been removed?!

Why has possibly the most entertaining thread been removed?

I am of course referring to **THE MENTAL** thread.

Surely if someone thought part of the content was offensive, why not removed the parts?

If members can't police that thread themselve and it all gets childish using quotes then that thread will also get closed.

Just for the record it was not deleted it was closed IIRC.

If the multiple quoting hadn't occurred the thread would still be running, it was just starting to get stupid, as I said if members can't police their own threads then the mods will step in.

Are we looking at the same thread? I saw one section of about half a dozen stupid quotes, which by the time it was closed was in the past and the thread seemed to be carrying on like any other.
