Wicked dog chap. May Jack (also short haired and legged) has been a top dog since i had him from 7/8 weeks old - he's now nearly 12. Hasn't slowed down one bit and is still a compete pain in the arse!! Got love him tho...

yep, they do seem that way, go on forever as well! my mums is 21 now!

As for yapping.... some do, some dont, Dillan seem's pretty chilled out even for a puppy so hopefully he wont be at it 24/7

He did chew up my furniture and crapped on my sofas. Best of luck to you and your new best friend. I am sure its a loverly dog, but there is a woman who walks her dogs where I walk mine and she is the spitting image of that cat woman off the Simpsons (if you know the one I am talking about). The only difference is that she has 6 Jack Russells and all are hissing, spitting, snarling, snapping, yapping nightmares that attack anyone or anything that they see.....

Frightening really, since its a pack, and somewhat jaded my view on the breed.

I guess that could be any breed though, 1 or two dogs are hard work, 6 would be a nightmare and especially if they are acting as a pack.
