This looks like a fun little aircraft - one to put in the boot on a day out in the right weather. Only £65 for the BNF version too, out October.

Viper- you have mail

I have the sukhoi b'n'f as it is superb.
This one is even better as it's supposed to have a better glide on it, and has a steerable tailwheel.
Flyingwings have them in stock now, tell them stuart sent you if you get one.

Search YouTube for the soon to be released eflite micro plane too. A little bipe that looks superb

Cool!

Does it come with the transmitter on the Mustang?

Where can one buy they from?

There's 2 options, one comes Bind-n-Fly where you use your own transmitter, the other comes fully complete with a transmitter.

See here: http://www.f1hobbies.com/shop.php?id=1989&leve... @ £90

Is this in the same series as the Spitfire one thats knocking around? (Maybe not as the Spitfire is around £140 RTF)

No, Parkzone make full size park flyers as both Spitfire and Mustang, but this is a new one with only a 15" wingspan. Ideal for indoors or light wind conditions

Ive got one of these

http://robotbirds.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPa...

Flew it last Sunday when there was zero wind. Take off and landing on the astro cricket strip. Great for a mess about but wanted to get something that can be flown in heavier winds. The Parkzone Mustang looks like it has a bit more power.

If anyone has radio gear already, get yourself a phase 3 spitfire.

About £55, put your receiver in- it comes with everything else.

Quick, small, includes motor speed controller battery and charger and servos.

Install receiver, charge battery and attach wing.

Great bit of kit. If you have radio gear and can fly, far better long term proposition than the parkzone stuff.

I've had the Parkzone Super Cub and Trojan and both superb aircraft for what they are designed for. Interested in why you say the Phase 3 model is better? Didn't realise they did this one and I have a spare receiver. I've had the Phase 3 F-16 and nearly got the P3 Squall! until the fan issues broke...

Sorry, I meant than the sukhoi and the micro mustang specifically as it can be flown in a breeze where the micro jobs can't.

I have had parkzone spit, fw190 and mustang and for what they are they are great, the smaller stuff gets a touch boring to me, although I have three on the shelf due to the lack of a suitable indoor hall to fly in

My friend received his ultra-micro P-51 yesterday and has flown it 6 times already! Absolutely loves it. Also reckons it handled better in the light wind than the PZ Corsair he has. Battery charges in 20 odd minutes and ready to go again. Even stopped off to/from work when a suitable field popped up. Landing is a breeze with or without gear.

Viper Larry have you seen the P-51 ultra mirco for yourslef yet? Has i got enough power to fly in windier conditions? is it worth the purchase do you think?

Did your mate buy an extra battery pack so as to charge while flying?

Not physically seen one yet, but my friend can't recommend it highly enough. Just been speaking to him and he's just gone and bought an Eflight MSR micro heli which uses the same batteries and comes with a 4 battery charger. He also bought 2 more batteries so has 4 in all and can all be charged quickly. None of my local shops have got them in yet, so I might order next week. He says it copes fine with light (5-7mph) winds.

How many minutes will a P-51 fly for on a single charge?
