any ideas on what battery is the best buy to suit a gts ?

They're not so easy to get hold of as they have an unusual side connection configuration. Call your local Chrysler dealer and order through them around £105 I think.

Think you need a 12 volt one with side terminals

Got mine online, one of the major online battery suppliers £80 ish delivered. Arrived next day. Google for american car batteries.

It was either a side terminal Numax 75/60 or 75/70

ive never had a problem with the stock Mopar with a battery tender on it

the GTS mopar battery was still going strong at 8 years old, only got swapped for the trip to germany, then it stood around for a few weeks before it got donated to Graham

You are in luck, I have just bought a replacement battery for my GTS from a battery specialist company in Corby, I think, on this number. 01623757377. It was £78 plus £10 postage.

Dont bother with optima red top, it wont fit in a GTS as it is duel post and you have to cut the top posts off which ruins the battery, I got a Delco from US Automotive after pulling out my wrecked optima.
