best steering wheel for xbox
Discussion
There's the Fanatec. Which is the best, but too much money. Or the rubbish MS official wheel. The choice in wheels is pretty limited and the Fanatec coming in at £250+, is just too expensive. Also doesn't sound very durable at the moment.
MS should let Logitech put there G25/27 on the Xbox. If they did release a 360 version I would buy one. But I'm not buying any of MS’s current line up.

I use the MS Wireless Wheel, on my lap on the sofa. It's fine - better than a pad, anyway. Not really sure what people mean by "the pedals" being wrong. They're exactly what I'd expect plastic computer game pedals to be like... and they have a really handy heel-retaining loop thing so they can't slide away
Although I suspect using the wheel actually makes me slower round the track, for some reason.
The force feedback can be a bit odd, and some games (like test drive unlimited) took a lot of playing around to get the feel at all right... increasing 'linearity' seems to help.

I agree, I think its partly because lock to lock takes alot longer than joy pad does, but for the increase in realisim i think its worth losing the few tenths a lap it might cost you (well, thats my excuse for being so slow!)Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
