Todt has lots of friends at the moment but are they the ones who will stick with him? Balestre was very confident of the vote when he failed to Mosley. Mind you I don't think Ari has it in him to pull the same sort of stunt. If he has then it is more of the same.

The video is repulsive, isn't it. It's enough to put you off motorsport for life.

I know everything is politics but even so, that was a demonstration of how low the FIA has sunk under Mosley's control. Mind you, it was good to see Eccs being pushed aside, rather like Brundle dispensing with other correspondents he regards as in the way.

Having looked at the youtube clipe and to be fair to Bernie, it does look more a case of Bernie pushing Ari in return for Ari pushing past him, bearing in mind that Ari must be at least a foot taller and 70-80lbs heavier than Bernie

A friend of mine went to SA and had a track day at Kyalami. He was quite impressed by the set up, reckoning that it would not be long before they tried to stage a GP.

All circuits are being neutered. We tried it with my ferret, Kevin. It made him flop about all day and there was a signular lack of excitement about him. A bit like modern circuits.
