As we all know the green flashy light for the indicators is dim dim dim, is the relay for this in the passenger footwell? If so, I was looking to install an LED on the steering column similar to the one for the imobilser.

I have a couple of indicators that I was going to fit under the dials so you could see between the wheel. I bought them soon after I acquired the car as I honestly thought there wasn't an indicator light rolleyes.

It was several days until I noticed this faint light in the centre console smile.

Mine too, annoyingly bright. But I still end up leaving em on, as the entire column of lights is obscured by my arm, whilst driving.

i just glance at the stick every now and then. its quite obvious when its left on as its not horizontal.
i can only see my light at night but haven't found it a problem really.

I have exactly the same problem and intend to fit an LED in exactly the place you describe.

I'd fit a brighter bulb in the dash but it looks like a total pain to get to.

Done a bit of exploring and found the relay is all part of the switch on the steering column.
I thought there would be a supply away to the lamp in the centre console but its not quite not that simple, not surprised. It would seem if indicating left the console lamp uses the right hand lamps as earth, obviously this has a resistance and makes the lamp dim.

Now working on a LED lamp system so it can be seen

Nice one clap

I also think a buzzer (or beeper)would be a good idea.
