Why no front splitter on the M400?

Does anyone know why there was no front splitter supplied with the M400 and would there be any benefit/problem with fitting one - does it actually give any more front end grip?

There are no speed bumps around the York country lanes

What the going rate for a new front splitter?

Standard splitter does nothing. All other splitters do next to nothing without other mods.

The splitter does make the front end of the car look more agressive even if it does nothing to the down force. In my opinion it would need to be lower and protrude further to make an effect, but then you wouldn't be able to open the fron clam without first putting the front wheels on blocks.

Thanks - I was watching that but thought it was expensive so wanted to check the price.

The splitter's main purpose is to slowly detach itself using speed bumps to wear away the rivet heads and then to rapidly detach scaring the fk out of you and other road users at some unspecified but high-speed future date....

Believe me, I know.

PS the Boomerang ones look quite good and do not have this problem.

Mine is bolted on with M6 stainless nut and bolts with over size washers to spread the stress and I've never had a problem with it coming loose let alone dropping off. I do not believe rivets could ever be strong enough to retain the splitter.

Did a tour of France this year doing over 3,000 miles, and hit the splitter on hundreds of speed bumps without it becoming detached, just well worn on the front lip.

As a matter of interest the last one I noticed on ebay was 2nd hand and went for £165

Then they should have gone through the Noble network and bought a new one for just a few £ more as the retail price is only £195 (and plenty in stock).

Thats all well and good but - god forbid - if you ever hit anything that has the force to knock off a rivetted splitter, yours will remove a large section of the clam with it.
