I have a jan 08 (57 plate) 335d touring.
Black, black leather, usb, bluetooth, privacy glass, swivel headlamp thing, newish rear tyres.

The car has done 22,000 miles and has the usual scratches, slight kerbs on alloys etc, etc.

I'm looking to get out of it (I need something bigger for the family and something more fun for me), what do we think it is worth?

comedy, yes it is fun, however as a family we need a bigger car so it really needs to go for a 5 touring, E class or a saab 9-5 and I fancy another Cerbera....

It is a great car, I have been reall, really happy with it and I will regret selling it, however it cannot do all the things we need it to do.

So, whats it worth?

Has it got nav???

Have a look round on autotrader and see what they are being advertised at, knock off a grand for actual sale price and then £3k for mark up.

£19k with nav, £17k without would be my guess.

Are you having a laugh?

I reckon you will be looking at anything between 24-26k

Forget the book price as you are paying around 1500-2000 more than book price for things like this at the moment

I paid £23k for my 14,000 mile 56 plate 335d M Sport touring only 2 weeks ago

Cheapest '08 one on autotrader is £33995.

Cheapest '08 AUC is also £33995

I'd be thinking around £27K, maybe £28.

Try around.

There are two BMW dealers within 20 miles of me - there is usually £2K variance between them.

I'd work towards these figures on a private sale, esp if you have been offered £24k by a BMW stealer.

I personally don't like the AMG gear on it, makes it look too much like "LOOK AT ME !!1111" frown

Engine is great though biggrin

I find the secrecy of the E500 just oh so attractive. Same with the 550i touring tbh. Next car is definitely going to be a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Mine's almost identical (Jan 2008 335d M Sport Touring Sparkling Graphite with decent options 22k on the clock) and I reckon about £27-28k in the present market

Sorry, completely missed it was a 2008, for some reason I thought he said 2007.
I know someone who just sold his 56 plate with everything on it, and I mean everything including dab, L7, panoramic roof, 19" 225 alloys, bluetooth, voice, nav prof., black on black and he got £19k for it, but it had 50k miles on it, so I was thinking year newer with half the miles but no options £19k was about right.

I do stand by the fact media pack adds £2k though, probably not now the new one is out, more like £1k, but it does add and make it far easier to sell, even at the higher price.

I will be selling my 2006 (56) 335d SE Coupe with a good option set soon (including the "awful" satnav which has not yet failed me) - guess what the local dealer offered me for it in px?

Depends on the mileage.

30k miles - £18k
40k miles - £17k
50k miles - £16k

Just sold my 335d Coupe to a dealer with 28,000 miles (56 plate) - £19k. So 15 months newer should be another £5k. £24k from a dealer is about right would be my guess.

PS, Mine was on 19's with Satnav.
