I would like to buy my wife a new watch for Xmas and would spend around £1000, must have a bracelot not leather strap,sensible figures on the dial & nothing imitating diamonds,suggestions please

Yes its the larger of the 2 correct...my wifes and many of her girlfriends are fine with a larger watch and would happily wear this one.

That's a nice choice. I wear an Aquaracer like that, but with the white face, for day-to-day use.

Slightly over your budget, but I picked mine up a few months ago just before the new models came out for a lot less and well within your budget, so might be worth a hunt? She liked that Tag as well, but the Omega has a big more weight to it that she preferred.
