Where are the different models of Audi built

So I think I have bought a German car (A6 allroad) but where are the differnet Audi models really built

do you mean which models (ie 2.5tdi/2.7tt) or platforms C5 A6, B8 A4 etc?

The assembaly lines are:-

Q7 - Bratislava, Slovakia, ex skoda plant, and it shows.

TT and TT roadster and A3 cab - some where in Hungary.

All the rest A3 A4 A5 A6 are the main plant in Ingolstadt, Germany, as far as I am aware.

Parts are made all over the place, many are Czech, some gearbox components from France, literally all over the place. Have even seen bearings with Brazil stamped on them.

Some new models will be made at the SEAT site in Martorell, Spain.

Different prefixes to the chassis number tie up the manufacture location as far as I'm aware - WAUZZZ or WUAZZZ is Ingolstadt (this is an observation, I don't know this for a fact).

Yes, the Audi factory is in Gyor.

It's Gyor, although all TT bodies are built and painted at Ingolstadt first. Not 100% sure about the A3 Cab but I suspect you're right.

A3/S3, A3/S3 Sportback, A4/S4, A4/S4 Avant, A4 allroad, A5/S5 Coupe/Cab/Sportback, Q5: Ingolstadt (Germany)

A6/S6, A6/S6 Avant, allroad, A8/S8: Neckarsulm (Germany)

RS6 and R8: quattro GmbH in Neckarsulm.

Some A3s are produced at the former VW plant in Brussels, and LWB A4 and A6 variants are built in Changchun (China).
