Announcers talking over programmes

Someone in here posted a link to a Charlie Brooker rant about that. Apparently it's BBC policy to do it these days!

I caught the end of 'To Catch a Paedophile' on ITV last night and as the presenter was saying something it went quiet and an ITV announcer said something along the lines of "If you've been affected or offended by the issues in tonights programme...", then they cut her off and right on cue the presenter of the programme said "It's me"
