futher to my last thread.. I'm buying COD4 Modern Warfare at lunch / tonight.

If i want to just try it online, is there a way of doing that without having to pay?

I don't want to pay if my internet is too slow / it doesn't work!

Say if i sign up as silver (is that free?) then i get a free month on gold? is that when i commit to 12 months or just a trial?

see if you can get a trial scratch card or do as you say and sign up for silver to try and get a free gold for a month....

im sure i have a scratch card for 24hr trial if your stuck...

As has been said, there are trial cards you can buy on ebay like this and they'll email you the code straight away.

You get a free month with the 360.

When you are setting your Xbox up for live say no to getting gold there and then, this will mean that you just have silver, but I then offers you a free month of gold to try out. I think you have to pu it credit card details though.....

As above although you don't need to input card details.

Simply sign up a new online account, it will give you silver status. It will then offer a 1Month Gold Free Trial. I did this very recently.
