The PHTCC Revisted.
Discussion
Last night MuzWez, founder of the PHTCC and grandfather of all Pistonheads online championships approached me with the idea of finishing Forza 2 the way we started it.

So, over the 21st & 22nd of October we would like to round up all the "Old Crew" (Or who's left of them!) and invite them to join us for a few races in the old spec cars purely for old times sake, I'm sure we'd all to see Muz's "Colonel" one last time before crossing the big blue yonder into the unknown that is FM3!
The same format will be carried from the original championship - ie, 3x 10lap races of a single circuit which will be revealed at a later date.
For those who have joined us since the PHTCC and consider yourself to be a "regular" amongst our Forza evenings and would like to take part in this send-off then here are the regs from which you must build your chariot;
_______________________________________________
Eligable Cars
Honda Civic Type-R
Honda Integra Type-R
Lexus IS300
BMW Motorsport M3 E36
Vauxhall Astra VXR
Nissan Sentra
2007 Seat Leon Cupra [DLC CAR]
2007 Honda Civic Type-R [DLC CAR]
Note - there is no cap on how many of each car will be available, but it would be preferable if there was a bit of variety!
Modification
Maximum PI of B700.
All 'Race' Handling upgrades including 'Cage must be applied.
'Race' tyres only.
No Powertrain swaps.

Please don't spoil the fun for others by purchasing a scoreboard tune from one of these big houses and absoloutely romping it as this is all just for fun and there are no prizes to be won!
Hope I've just about covered everything here Muz, let me know if there are any bits I've missed out and I'll alter it accordingly!
Cheers, Nick.

You're more than welcome to join in as a full George!Edited by ih8thisname on Wednesday 30th September 17:39

Ok if I cant take part can I build/tune a car for someone?
Carl when would you be available to take part in this?I think Muz's idea was to have this running in the final few days before FM3, but I'm sure he'll agree that it would be a great shame if you, as one of the PH's greatest FM contributors, were unable to make it...

I'd love to be in on this as a reserve... although hopefully someone could have a crack at tuning my Astra, I've done a paintjob but it's a bit slow for a B class car at the minute.

Hmmm, 'tuning' you say [/IMG]

I sometimes adjusted the gear-ratios for long / short tracks.
And I lowered my tyre pressures once as I heard it was the done thing...
If I 'tinker' I tend to make things worse than they were before!

Guys the sentiment is much appreciated but as I'm working twice as many late shifts nowadays my whole XBL experience is taking a severe knock, hence why I'm looking forward to FM3, if nothing else I can build and tune during those long winter mornings stuck at home!
Carry on with the race as arranged, as to prizes, I may as ever be able to trump some little beauties up.

That tends to be what happens when I try touching anything... and then I load the defaults and swear it's still broken!
I've also slightly tweaked the paintwork and got rid of the bodykit on the Astra to make it a bit more like the proper one.
Hey Cheesey, I'll share my Astra plans with you.......it's the car that has no tune.......
